EMR Direct’s Policies for Accessing Customer PHI and PII
EMR Direct staff do not access PHI passing through our systems as part of routine operations. When troubleshooting system issues, PHI may be encountered by authorized personnel. We are also obligated to use or disclose PHI as required by law, legal process or enforceable governmental request. Please refer to the EULA section 15.C for more details:

We process PII of the persons whose identities we are required to verify as part of the onboarding process. This information is stored securely as part of our information system security policy. We may store and use the information we collect in order to set up and maintain your account with us, for customer service purposes, and to verify your identity.
